Payment Details:

100% payment for ticketed events such as Bottomless Brunch is required at the time of booking. Payment must be made prior to the function/event to secure your registration. All events are priced in Australian dollars and include GST. 

Cancellations:

If you wish to cancel your registration to events such as Bottomless Brunch at any time, NO ticket costs will be refunded. Non-attendance of any event due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to refunds, or a transfer to another event.

Booking Delays:

Reserved tables will only be held for 15 mins past the original booking time and if the table is not claimed within this period, it will be given away.

Restaurant Policy:

Left Bank Melbourne exercises responsible service of alcohol. Left Bank Melbourne does not take responsibility for any personal items that are damaged or lost.

For event packages, final drinks must be ordered 20min before the end of your session.

Please note that our bottomless brunch offer requires all attendees to participate in order to ensure a consistent and enjoyable experience for everyone. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy. For those not able to consume alcohol we do have a range of alcohol-free options available.

Sitting Times:

Please note our sitting times for the bottomless brunch is 2 hours. We cannot accommodate any bottomless brunch bookings outside of these times.

Minors:

Join us at Left Bank Melbourne! To ensure a delightful experience for all, we invite guests who are 18 and older to make bookings.

In harmony with Victoria's laws, including liquor licensing laws, we ensure a responsible and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Guests under 18 are welcome to visit our premises when accompanied by a responsible adult, like a parent, step-parent, guardian, grandparent, or an 18+ spouse.

While we celebrate the presence of all our guests, we serve alcoholic beverages exclusively to those over the legal age of 18, contributing to a safe and pleasurable dining experience for all.

Any patrons under the age of 18 must be easily identifiable by all our staff. To this end the underage patrons will be requested to wear a wrist band at all times whilst in the venue.

There are no circumstances where underage patrons can consume alcohol on the licenced premises. Police Statutory Fines of up to $20,000 may apply.

Cakes:

You are welcome to bring one celebration cake per booking/event. Please ensure it is clearly labelled with the booking name and any specific storage instructions. We charge a cakeage fee of $6 per person and $30 flat rate for groups of 6+. This charge is to cover the storage, handling, cutting, plating, and serving of your cake to your guests. This is due to OHS requirements

Dietary Requirements:

We cater to all dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut allergies, lactose intolerance etc. Please advise of any specific requirements upon booking to ensure we have suitable options available for you. We will have one of our staff members talk you through your options when you arrive.

Dress Code:

Customers are required to dress in smart clothing and remain clean, neat, and tidy at all times while in our venue. However, there are few things to keep in mind: collared shirts are required. Thongs, trainers, ripped denim or beachwear are not allowed.

  Management reserves the right to refuse entry if our dress code is not adhered to, or your attire or attitude is deemed inappropriate.

The following dress is considered unacceptable:

• Active or sporting attire of any kind or brand

• Ripped, torn or soiled clothing

• T-shirts with offensive design/words

• Camouflage clothing

• Work singlets or work tank tops

• Manual work clothing or boots (including all steel cap boots)

• Unclean, untidy or torn footwear

• Ugg boots, rubber gum boots

When electing to book an event, Left Bank Melbourne requires that a minimum spend is reached on a given day. These change based on the day, or may be waived in the off season or by management’s discretion. The minimum spend applicable to your event is detailed on your Events. Minimum Spends are for food and beverage only and do not include items like, but not limited to, security, entertainment, theming, furniture hire or audio visual. If your Event End Value is below the value of the Minimum Spend, a ‘venue hire fee’ will apply. The venue hire fee will be equal to the difference between your Event End Value and the Minimum Spend.

Deposits are issued according to the estimated number of guests attending an event and are necessary to secure your group booking. Any function booked at Left Bank Melbourne is not considered confirmed until the confirmation deposit is paid.

The following payment schedule for events must be strictly adhered to:

Holding Deposit: 20% of the Event End Value, due within 7 days of the initial booking and upon signing of your contract.

Progress Deposit: 30% of the Event End Value, due six months prior to the event date.

Final Payment: 100% of the Event End Value must be received as cleared funds by 12 noon, two days prior.

Security Bond (Refundable): $2,000 payable by credit card for a 7 day hold. Alternatively, you may pay the security bond by cash, or bank cheque..  

We charge 5% surcharge on Sundays and 15% surcharge on Public Holidays.

In the unfortunate situation that a customer needs to cancel a booking or event, cancellations must be done with our Events Manager between the hours of 9-5pm Monday – Friday.

General reservation cancelations: 

For all bookings, a $20 per head cancellation fee will be charged for any no shows, if 24 hours notice is not provided ahead of the booking time. Non-attendance of any event due to illness, or for personal or professional reasons does not provide the right to refunds, or a transfer to another event.

It’s the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all guests behave in an orderly manner during the event. Guests are expected to comply with the behavioral codes of Left Bank and Victorian Licensing Laws, such as Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), under which the restaurant operates. Any damage to premises, persons or equipment as a result of disorderly conduct by guests at the event is the responsibility of the client, in the instance where damage has occurred, all associated costs will be charged to the nominated credit card. It’s our policy to provide you with the best possible service by friendly and professional staff in order to ensure the success of your event. The discretion of management will ensure a safe, harmonious and enjoyable event.

Please note that prices listed and seasonal availability whilst current at the time of quotation are subject to change without notice. We endevour to maintain our menus and beverages as printed, however, these may be subject to change at our discretion from time to time. All menu and beverage selections must be confirmed no later than 30 days prior to your event date. It’s your responsibility to inform us in writing of any dietary requirements or allergies your guests may have.

At the time of publication, all pricing listed on our website is accurate and final. We reserve the right to amend this without formal notice at time to time. Pricing listed on third party websites, directories, social media channels or other mediums are intended to be a guideline and are not final. We do accept AMEX, as well as Visa and MasterCard. Unfortunately, we do not accept Diners.

Whilst every effort will be made to return belongings post-event to their owners, Left Bank will take no responsibility or make any reimbursements for lost property. Event hosts should take home any gifts received during a function when leaving the venue.

Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or exchanged

If the cost of the purchase exceeds the redeemable value of a Left Bank Melbourne Gift Voucher, the voucher holder is required to pay the difference between the purchase price of the dining experience and the value of the particular Left Bank Melbourne Gift voucher.

The voucher must be used in one sitting. No refunds or credits will be applied if the full amount is not redeemed during the sitting

Expiration: This voucher is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue and must be used by the expiration date.

Transfer: This voucher is non-transferable.
